Two paths to procurement: SLM or AgentFlow
Replace the stack or orchestrate what you own.
What this session covers
There are two honest routes to modernizing procurement, and this session works through both. The first replaces the stack: one supplier record underneath sourcing, contracts, risk, spend, purchasing and diversity, so reporting no longer depends on spreadsheet reconciliation. The second keeps Coupa, Ariba or your ERP in place and uses AgentFlow to orchestrate intake, approvals and supplier work across them, with Gainfront supplying the supplier context underneath. The session covers the conditions that favor each path, and how a team that starts on one can move to the other later.
What you can do after watching
- Choose replacement when the underlying problem is that no system agrees on who the supplier is, and a single master beneath every module is what fixes it.
- Choose orchestration when the suites are staying, because AgentFlow coordinates requests, approvals and supplier processes across the tools you already run, with no big-bang cutover.
- Recognize the ceiling of intake tooling on its own — routing a request faster changes nothing while every downstream system still disagrees on the supplier record.
- Start with AgentFlow and grow into SLM modules later, because orchestrating first does not close the door on making Gainfront the system of record.
