Supplier diversity software. No three-week fire drill for Tier 2 season.

Supplier diversity software for Tier 1 and Tier 2 spend reporting: certification tracking, diverse-supplier classification, validation and audit-ready evidence.

Diversity reporting fails on identity, not effort. When certifications, classifications and spend sit in different systems, every cycle rebuilds the same list under different names, and the number you publish is one you can't fully defend.

No slide deck. Bring a raw spend export and see your own suppliers.

Built for supplier diversity, CSR and procurement teams at 500+ employee enterprises in the US and Canada.

One diverse supplier. Five systems. Five answers.

The fracture

The number isn't wrong because you counted badly. It's wrong because identity fractured.

Most diversity teams already have a tracker, a certification list and a spend export. What they don't have is one supplier identity all three agree on.

  • 01

    Certifications expire silently

A supplier counted as diverse in Q1 lost certification in Q2, and nothing in the stack noticed until an audit or a customer asked for evidence.

  • 02

Tier 2 collection is manual every cycle

Opening the cycle, chasing submissions, validating what comes back and resolving exceptions runs on email and reminders, then restarts next quarter.

  • 03

The reported number can't be defended line by line

Roll-ups come from exports that no longer tie back to specific suppliers, certifications and invoices, so the total is defensible in aggregate and fragile in detail.

Definition

What is supplier diversity software?

Supplier diversity software tracks which of your suppliers are diverse-owned, keeps their certifications current, and reports the spend placed with them. Tier 1 directly and Tier 2 through your own suppliers. Gainfront runs that programme on the same supplier record as risk, contracts and spend, so classification and evidence stay attached to one vendor identity instead of a parallel spreadsheet.

Straight answer

Is this a fit for your programme?

Yes. Talk to us if

  • You report Tier 1 and Tier 2 diverse spend to customers, primes or agencies
  • Certifications are tracked in a spreadsheet and expire without warning
  • Tier 2 collection means chasing your own suppliers by email every cycle
  • Diverse-supplier status isn't attached to the vendor record finance uses

No. We're the wrong tool if

  • You need workforce DEI, hiring or employee-diversity reporting
  • You want a diverse-supplier directory subscription only
  • You're a diverse supplier seeking certification: go to NMSDC or WBENC
  • No formal reporting obligation and no executive spend target

This is supplier-side diversity, the spend you place with diverse businesses. It is not workforce DEI software.

Questions

Before you book
for Supplier Diversity.

The questions supplier diversity procurement teams ask on the first call: answered here so you don't spend a meeting on them.

What's the difference between Tier 1 and Tier 2 diverse spend?

Tier 1 is spend you place directly with a diverse-owned supplier. Tier 2 is diverse spend your suppliers place on your behalf, reported back to you. Gainfront handles both on the same supplier record, including the full Tier 2 cycle: open, collect, validate, resolve exceptions, approve and publish.

Does Gainfront validate certifications automatically?

Gainfront tracks certification type, issuing body and expiry against the supplier record, and surfaces expiries before they invalidate a reported number. Certifying bodies remain the source of truth for the certificate itself.

Is this workforce DEI software?

No. This is supplier diversity, the spend your organisation places with diverse-owned businesses, and the reporting obligations that come with it. It does not cover hiring, workforce demographics or employee programmes.

Can we run diversity without replacing our ERP?

Yes. Gainfront sits above the ERP. Keep SAP, Oracle, Coupa or whatever holds your spend, and use Gainfront for the supplier record, certifications, classification and reporting cycle, or AgentFlow to orchestrate collection across systems you keep.

Where should a diversity team start?

Usually Tier 2, because it creates the loudest fire drill, or certification tracking if expiries are the current risk. A typical single-module onboarding runs about eight weeks.

Thirty minutes with someone who has run procurement, using your data: framed for supplier diversity teams.

  • It's a working session, not a pitch

Bring a raw spend export or a supplier list. You'll see your own data in the platform, not a demo tenant.

  • 30 minutes, one call

We'll tell you whether supplier diversity is a replace or orchestrate case, including when the answer is neither.

  • No procurement-side homework

You don't need IT, a data pull request, or a cleaned-up file. Messy is the point.
