Jonathan Mayes joins the Gainfront advisory board
We welcome Jonathan Mayes to the Gainfront advisory board. Gainfront was formerly named iQuantum. Jonathan brings direct experience in enterprise procurement operations and digital transformation.
He has worked inside large procurement organizations, where sourcing, contracts, and supplier data moved between systems during technology changes. That background gives him a practical view of what a procurement team can absorb during a rollout, and what a rollout puts at risk if it moves too fast.
Why digital transformation expertise matters to procurement
A digital transformation project in procurement rarely replaces every tool at once. Most teams keep parts of their existing stack and add new capability around it. The hard question is sequencing: which process to change first, how long the old and new systems should run in parallel, and when a team is ready for the next step. Get the sequence wrong, and a rollout stalls, or a team reverts to spreadsheets mid-project.
His role on the advisory board
As an advisory board member, Jonathan reviews how Gainfront’s roadmap handles that sequencing question. His counsel helps the product team stay honest about replace-versus-orchestrate decisions: when a customer should replace a legacy tool outright, and when Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLM) and AgentFlow orchestration should sit alongside the systems that customer already runs.
His addition builds on the board’s existing experience across sourcing, diversity, risk, and enterprise procurement operations.
